FMT Yacht Transport offers all in turn key solution for organizing pick up of oversized equipment from all locations in the US and in the Caribs, loading on our vessels and delivery by ocean going vessels from between USA and Caribbean. We offer frequent sailings with specialized vessels geared to receive equipment with vessel cranes from land or barge or water and discharge same way at destination.
Access to a fleet of 9 modern multipurpose vessels available on this route allows us to cover most destinations between USA and Caribbean islands with frequency of sailings every month.
By dealing with FMT, you are essentially working with group of companies who joined forces in marine industry to offer door to door service to include pick by company trucks from all locations, delivery to sea port and loading on our vessels – all under one roof. We also offer storage in our yards up two weeks before loading to help clients accumulate cargo at departure ports before vessels arrive.
Our contract to client will unite all services for transport of equipment and machinery between ex door to door up to delivery to final site overseas– no hidden costs or surprises. Our mission is to offer a complete package of services to allow clients to get boats to safety for reasonable cost and well organized.
1 – Trucking ex origin / door or auction site to port for loading onboard our ocean going vessels.
2 – Offloading to pier or barge or truck with ships cranes direct from vessel upon arrival to minimize costs of handling at the destination.
3 – Storage at most ports included up two weeks prior to boarding our vessels. FMT Yacht Transport completed 10 successful sailings since December 2017 to load damaged boats and construction equipment from via Tortola / St Thomas / St Maarten to ship yards in North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Florida and back.

Moved work camp to contain 45 living quarter modules to be used for rebuilding the island and hotel resorts. Camp was picked up from manufacturer Gulf Structures in Lafayette, moved by trucks to cargo port in Mobile AL, loaded on cargo vessel, delivered to St Maarten, moved by trucks to site and placed according to site plan for turn key operations.
